WOO! Lots to talk about now. First off I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. It took a full fourteen hours for my face to become un-numb. Secondly (Is that even a word? Spell check says it is so I am going to leave it) Christmas was pretty awesome! My parents got me Greg 'Craola' Simkins' book Drawn From the Well. I love it! So if some of my drawings start to look like copies of his it's probably because I was heavily influenced by his art at the time lol. I also got a bunch of money for my camera that I've been saving up for, which brings me to thirdly. THIRDLY I GOT MY NEW CAMERA!!! I am very excited about it if you couldn't tell. This changes multiple things about my blog now. One thing it adds is that I will most likely also start posting a weekly photograph, or maybe even more frequent. The second thing it changes is that the drawings I post will most likely be taken with said camera instead of having to travel to the school library to scan them. This may increase the number of drawings posted, I'm not sure.

Now that I can't think of any other events happening in my life right now I guess it's time for the whole reason you guys read this blog...

OH YES! I forgot something. So, Fourthly I might be going to Chicago for spring break with some of my closest friends. I really hope it works last time we tried our plans kind of fell through the cracks at the last minute.

So it took a day longer than I thought but I finally got some sketches scanned. I guess I was wrong about sketching more I guess it just feels like it since I spent lot of time on a commission drawing.

Here is one. I'm saving the only other sketch I have scanned for next weeks post when I will be recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed.

Also I would like to just talk about something I noticed today when I was at Borders. I had just left and right as I stepped outside I noticed an amazing sunset with some awesome color and cloud action going on. Kind of amazed I looked around to see if anyone else noticed. Everyone around me was rushing in and out of stores hurrying to finish their last minute Christmas shopping. Every person I saw looked upset, rushed, and tired. As I drove home I made sure to keep an eye on the sky watching the great sunset develop and change right before my eyes. I guess what I'm getting at is to not let the small things in life like, busy traffic, rushed shopping, and so on, get you down and keep looking for sources of wonder in your life.

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you guys know I survived finals and have been drawing a lot more lately. Tomorrow I'm going up to the library to scan some pictures then I'll be able to post some for this week!

I would like to say I'm sorry. Sorry that I have been so wrapped up in final projects and studying for finals that I haven't had time to post any pictures. I will make sure to designate some time tomorrow to post a picture. Only a week left until the semester is over and then it is time to get started on some commission work I have to do over the break before I get my wisdom teeth out two days after Christmas... WOO! not really... I'm not a huge fan of someone putting me to sleep, going into my mouth and cutting four of my teeth out, but it needs to be done so I will do it.
